Now, a player will not need to loot dead bodies if they have the Resurrect Ritual as whenever a player Resurrects a Follower that had a Gift they will return with that Gift as well as the level that the Follower was at. If Followers are asleep they will not witness the horrid event and thus it will not result in a player losing Faith. Essentially when a Follower dies players will be able to loot the dead body, though this will come to a detriment of Faith if a player’s other Followers are awake. Luckily for players, if a gift was mistakenly given to a Follower they will be able to rectify their mistake, but only after a Follower dies. I’m happy to let you know that this is not the case and that players will get a decent amount of Gifts to provide their Followers throughout their Dungeon Crawling runs, however, I will say that players will want to be strategic about which Followers get certain gifts as some Followers will gain more from certain Gifts based on their Traits. It seems the main reason is that many players assume that Gifts are rare and should be used sparingly. Well as much as players may be aware of all of these interactions, something that seems to go somewhat missed is the gifts that you can give your Followers. Once you’ve given the Gift, the loyalty bar will appear above the Follower’s head, and it will indicate how far their loyalty level has risen.Well, well, well we’re here again for yet another Cult of the Lamb guide! Today’s post is actually inspired by a question I’ve been receiving quite a bit on Twitch as I hop by other content creators’ channels and I can’t believe I didn’t think about writing about the topic at first.Īs most players would know by the time they read this post, there are multiple ways you’re going to want to interact with your Followers, whether it’s running Sermons for Loyalty, sending Followers on missions with the Missionary, taking them to fight with you using the Demonic Summoning Circle, set up Doctrines and many other interactions. Lastly, choose whichever Gift you want to give this Follower out of the options available. Next, select “Bequeath a Gift onto a Follower.” On the first menu that opens, select “Make demands of your Follower.” Go up to the Follower you wish to give a Gift to and speak with them. Giving gifts to your Followers can be done when you’re back in your cult. So, Big Gifts will raise a Follower’s loyalty bar more than a Small Gift. You’ll notice that some Gifts are labeled “Small Gift” while others are labeled “Big Gift.” The Gift sizes simply indicate how much the Follower’s loyalty bar will rise upon receiving it. Some of these abilities include higher productivity, the ability to skip sleeping, and more. While Small Gifts and Big Gifts simply raise a Follower’s loyalty level, Necklaces can do this while also giving the Follower certain abilities after they put on the Necklace. There are Small Gifts, Big Gifts, and Necklaces that can be given as a gift in Cult of the Lamb. Lastly, you can get Gifts as a reward for completing a run. Additionally, you can find Gifts in boxes or barrels in certain Event rooms. Sometimes, Gifts will be in Chests once you’ve completed a room. Gifts can appear in different places during your runs through the dungeons in Cult of the Lamb. The Doctrines have various types of benefits, including better productivity, a rise in Faith, and much more. These can be used to declare new Doctrines for your cult. Every time one of your Followers gains a loyalty level, you receive a Commandment Stone Fragment. Thus, you’ll want to raise your Followers’ loyalty as much as possible. In Cult of the Lamb, your strength is largely determined by how devoted your Followers are.
